Product Overview

H3C S5570S-EI series switches are a new generation of high-performance, high-port density, high-security and easy-to-install intelligent managed Gigabit Ethernet switches developed by H3C using industry-leading ASIC technology, supporting IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack management and forwarding, supports static routing protocols and routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, etc., and supports rich management and security features.

 

H3C S5570S-EI series switches are mainly positioned at the access layer and aggregation layer of enterprises and campuses, meeting high-density Gigabit access, fixed 10 Gigabit uplink ports, supporting PoE+, and building high-performance end-to-end IP network solutions with other H3C products.

SmartMC Intelligent Management Capability

SmartMC (Smart Management Center) simplifies complex O&M of scattered edge network devices, specially optimized for SME switch operation and maintenance. Its built-in graphical platform enables unified network O&M, covering smart configuration, intelligent O&M, visualized management and intelligent services. It supports batch device management, topology visualization and one-key user network access. H3C S5570S-EI switches can act as SmartMC core management devices for unified whole-network control.

Visualization & IPv4/IPv6 Service Capabilities

Integrated with Telemetry technology, the switches push real-time device resource and alarm data to O&M platforms via gRPC, supporting network quality traceability, risk warning and architecture optimization for stable user experience. Built on a hardware-based IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack foundation, they support diverse tunnel, Layer 3 routing, multicast and policy routing technologies, delivering a complete dual-stack network solution.

IRF2 Intelligent Resilient Framework

The series supports H3C IRF2 Intelligent Resilient Framework to virtualize multiple physical switches into one unified virtual device. It delivers high scalability with plug-and-play deployment and automatic firmware synchronization, enabling network expansion without topology adjustments. H3C proprietary routing hot backup ensures non-stop Layer 3 forwarding and eliminates single points of failure. Link aggregation realizes load balancing and mutual backup for higher link utilization, while common GE-port-based IRF connections support flexible cross-rack and cross-campus networking.

Comprehensive Security Control Policies

Combined with EAD (Endpoint Admission Defense), the switches adopt a full-dimensional security system to achieve proactive integrated terminal and network security defense, replacing traditional passive protection. They support 802.1x, MAC and Portal multi-authentication, with dynamic binding of user accounts, IP, MAC and port information, and flexible delivery of VLAN, QoS and ACL policies. Equipped with bidirectional ACL rules and uRPF, they effectively defend against address spoofing, DoS, DDoS and various flood attacks.

Multiple Reliability Protection Mechanisms

The series provides dual device-level and link-level reliability guarantees. It supports modular redundant AC/DC power supplies with automatic power and fan fault detection and alarms. Compatible with LACP, STP, RSTP, RRPP and other link protection protocols, paired with IRF2 1:N redundancy backup and ring stacking, it also supports ARP attack defense, greatly improving network stability and fault tolerance under heavy service traffic.

Rich QoS Features & Powerful Management Capacity

The switches deliver rich QoS capabilities, including Layer 2–Layer 4 multi-dimensional packet filtering, SP, WRR and SP+WRR flexible queue scheduling, and a minimum 16 kbps bandwidth granularity. Bidirectional port mirroring facilitates traffic monitoring and fault troubleshooting. They support multiple management modes including CLI, Web and H3C IMC, as well as secure SNMP and SSH access, with built-in traffic analysis tools for real-time network monitoring and resource optimization.

AD-Campus & Hardware High Availability

Compatible with H3C AD-Campus solutions, the switches feature an open full-lifecycle architecture to accelerate campus network digital transformation. For hardware reliability, they support 1+1 hot-swappable redundant power supplies, intelligent fan speed adjustment and automatic status alarms, with industry-leading 6KV service port surge protection to adapt to harsh operating scenarios.

Cloud Empowerment & PoE Capabilities

Supporting H3C Cloudnet cloud O&M, the switches enable minute-level deployment and zero on-site maintenance. AI-driven intelligent optimization and fault prediction boost operational efficiency and support business innovation. They also feature Fast PoE for rapid power supply and Perpetual PoE for uninterrupted power supply during device hot reboot.

Green Energy-Saving Technology

Adopting high-efficiency energy-saving chips and optimized architecture, the switches support automatic port power-down and EEE energy-saving modes to reduce power consumption on idle ports. Complying with EU RoHS standards, they feature low overall power consumption and maintenance costs, delivering eco-friendly and energy-efficient network access.
